> Tak...1. Takami-kun is an LGBT Japanese romance
> Takumi-kun is a yaoi (Boy Love)
2. It’s interesting, but it’s nothing special
> This is more about one boys love helping another boy over come a crippling disability.
3. I would have liked to know more about why Gii fell in love with Takami before he even knew him properly.
> As clearly explained in episode 1. Gii went to his friends recital when he was younger, (Inoue Sachi) where he heard another young boy play (Takumi) and fell in love. Anyone who has been moved by a piece of music will fall in love with its creator, (my ex the first time I heard him play guitar live, I fell in love with him) This is why Gii gave Takumi the stradivarius.
3. Am I the only one who thinks he has the most unique, spectacular eyes in Japan?
> Agreed!
4. Takami-kun: Chapter 1 is a nice little show to watch, but nothing particularly memorable or powerful. The production value isn’t great, and the performances are simply 'good.'
> Very memorable and very powerful. Production not great (agreed) but the performances are beyond simply good.
If I had one criticism, it would be that Episode 2 onwards was a cast change but then again if it hadn't been the wonderful Daisuke Watanabe wouldn't have come into it and he made the series for me. All in all a beautifully told, love story with a noteworthy story line. No DMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16881518829103704305noreply@blogger.com
