There was never any doubt in my mind. Ledger's performance is one of the most moving, masterful performances in the history of cinema. I also adored Watts' outstanding turn in Mulholland Drive. That movie made her one of my favourite actresses!
We have pretty similar tastes Nika! It's scary ;) haha But seriously, Ulrich moved me to tears the second time I saw The Lives of Others. That scene where he's listening to the classical composition about "A Good Man," just moved me to the core.
I love that Ledger is your pick for number 1 - his work in BM is my all time favorite performance, right after Naomi Watts in Mulholland Drive.
